The Shifting Sands of Time: Phase
The dynamic mystery of “phase” expresses the universal themes of change, cyclic relationships and cycles through the morphing, bending and blending of “color” through time. The movement of this “dance” is so beautiful and epic it is unimaginable in scale. Yet we can directly participate in its “glory” as long as we’re in concert with the theme, though the theme is also shifting and moving thorough phases of epic magnitude.
Throughout the ages different cultures and civilizations have expressed this scope in various ways, but the core realization is very much the same; the greater body of life experiences “seasons” of transformative magnitude. These seasons are the macrocosmic phases of “color,” corresponding to the Zodiac and its cyclic connection to our temporal world.
The world we are gathered in is but one chapter in Love’s illimitable theme.
A Short Story
Imagine attending a grand ball – a festive celebration where everyone is wearing costumes and dancing to many musical motifs. All the guests are there for the affirmation of life; to enjoy and share the grandeur of the “dance” (the rhythmic flow of energy) and the beauty of the “music” (the vibrations, sensations, and manifestations of energetic harmony).
As the evening progresses, the gathering is periodically asked to change costumes and animate their form through new themes of music. With each shift of phase some are caught in the transition between one theme and the next, while others are reluctant to change because they are still engaged in the previous form. Eventually some become out-of-phase with the evenings greater intent and lose their harmony, falling into dissonance.
With time the discorded atmosphere gradually masks the music, and with that the celebration descends more and more into chaos. Suddenly, the master of ceremonies comes to center stage appealing to everyone to be calm for a moment, to re-center their minds in the greater theme of why they are gathered together.
Some of the attendees listen and understand while others do not. For the ones who do listen, the master of ceremonies opens a door to another grand ball, this one even more spectacular than the last. While the others, immersed in “noise” and unable to hear the invitation, are left for a time to exhaust their chaotic potentials among themselves.
Indeed, it is everyone’s free choice to gather in whatever “ball” resonates within, because sooner or later everyone makes it to the grand finale – the epic theater where the Love Story is infinitely fulfilled and shared by everyone.
In the above it’s important to understand the movement of phase is very subtle and gradual, and therefore easily obscured by background noise. This means only those who are deeply in touch with the score, and the greater composition of its theme, can dance and move with the subtle currents because they feel the musical shift in time.
This is our call to evolve dimensionally and heed the opening to a new, higher realm of consciousness - a “place” with elevated resonant energy and potential.
