Oppositional Consciousness
It is most revealing the word “engagement” is a euphuism used by military minds to convey a “conflict” or “battle.” The oppositional inflection rooted in the bending of this word tells us a lot. Foremost, the animating principal behind such a mindset reveals a “world” derived through polarity, out-of-phase and inconsistent with the grand love story. This oppositional bind is a fundamental truncation of our spiritual (energetic) power – and the fissure it reflects is the dominate principal far too many are experiencing and amplifying.
The greater responsibility of life tells us the world is exactly as we are individually and collectively imagining and empowering it to be.
Consider the following: the greatest power of consciousness is that of imagination for it is the root of all creation. When we submit this power to others we allow them to dictate the “theater” of our being. By doing this we live our lives in subversion to our greatest potential. The end result of this loss is tremendous strife and suffering in the world – for we have lost contact with the universal theme of our perennial engagement.
Love is the intended “king and queen” of our domain.
Authoritarian Power
Certainly the mechanisms of control and oppression have long been used to place others under the ruling power of an authoritarian doctrine. It is important to understand there is no better tactic to accomplish this objective than to capture the imagination and direct it towards a premise that’s out-of phase with the universal theme. The fallout from this “shift” impedes the pathway to higher centers of consciousness, and eventually estranges the individual from his or her true (universal) identity. Once this happens it’s as if the “authority” has created a subjugated soul; a person easy to control, command and manipulate.
In such scenarios, and we know in our hearts how often this occurs, life is more akin to a prison than a free flowing voyage through the mystery of creation. And the truth is mankind has been struggling with this affliction for quite some time.
Individual Responsibility within the Field
Now consider the following: as the spheres of modern physics and ancient mystics have converged, we now understand “destruction” and “creation” are counterparts of the same process. Furthermore, consider the possibility it is our individual choice to identify with either creative or destructive intent. So we either individually make a conscious decision regarding our orientation, or one is made for us – usually by “forces” we would rather not empower. In this way, neither ignorance nor neglect can be the cure.
The universal theme we are here to explore is one of collaboration, not opposition. However, the universal intent of free-will coupled with the mystery aspect tend to blur the lines between consonance and dissonance. This “confusion” is nothing more than the scattering impulse which creates our individuality from the holistic field. The means to resolve this confusion resides within our core nature, and has everything to do with the energetic center we identify with.
